“When Governor Anthony assume in 2016 the leadership of the province, one of his priorities under the BEST PEOPLE development agenda is the taking advantage of information technology, doing things well for the organization. He instructed me to make e-governance as a priority that would cut across other offices. That is why we have an e-governance team, an in-house group that will develop all our systems,” pag-abi-abi ni probinsyal administrador Samson Sanchez sa grupo nga naghisgot sa kalamposan sa miaging tuig.

“First and foremost why we come over to DavNor is of course we are developing our comprehensive revenue generation plan and will continue with the Strategic Financial Management Plan. The purpose of this Technical Working Group is to formulate the strategic plan for the city in the next five years.  Based on the results of our findings and studies we have heard during our seminars and workshops that DavNor have already made an advance step on the financial management of its resources particularly Strategic Financial Management Plan preparation and we would like to learn from you,” pahayag ni GenSan city treasurer Lacap.

“Syempre I also want General Santos City to learn the good practices of Davao del Norte because I’ve been here for quite a long time and I know there’s a lot of good practices that have been done by the provincial government. So it would be good also to share these practices to other Local Government Units not only in GenSan. . .I do believe that these good practices are worth sharing that’s why I decided to bring GenSan here,” matod ni Ms. Boreros.

“Like for example, Davao del Norte has good practice in Community-based road contracting, the CBRMC which is a Galing Pook awardee. There’s a lot in terms of financial management, e-budgeting, ICT systems, HRIS, and I was also surprise because when I left Davao del Norte some of these practices are not yet there. . Mas marami pang nagawa at mas maraming maganda. I am not biased but I also heard from national agencies like DILG. As you can also see like the provincial executive competitiveness. As you have seen naging top three agad yung DavNor, unlike before nasa top twenty lang. So it only show that the province is really performing,” pagdayeg ni Ms. Boreros sa probinsyal nga panggamhanan.
