Nakigtambayayong ang Department of Tourism (DOT) Rehiyon XI ug ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) aron mapahigayon ang duha ka adlaw’ng seminar/workshop bahin sa Diplomatic Protocols, Etiquette, and Social Graces sa Seda Hotel, Davao City adtong Abril 28-29, 2022 nga nagtumong na mabansay ang mga nagkada-iyang personahe gikan sa industriya sa turismo sa probinsya, siyudad, ug mga stakeholders sa Rehiyon XI pag-abot sa pagdawat og mga diplomatiko nga taga laing nasud.
Tulo (3) ka mga resource speakers gikan sa DFA nga giilang sila Ambassador Wilfredo Santos ang Assistant Secretary ug Chief of Protocol, Leizel Jane Caasi ang Assistant Director for Ceremonials Division, ug si Atty. Manfred Neale Manalo ang Principal Assistant to the DFA Office of Protocols ang giimbita sa DOT-XI alang sa paghisgot sa ilang mga kaalam ug kasinatian sa pagdawat og mga dignitaryo.
Gipaabot sa DFA ang mga esensyal nga topiko mahitungod sa Diplomatic Protocols ngadto sa mga partisipante sama sa order of precedence, flag set-up, table set-up, meeting seat plan, security protocols, ang pagpangalap og impormasyon bahin sa kultural nga gigikanan sa Diplomatikong bisita, iyang mga paboritong pagkaon ug bisag ang iyang mga food allergies.
Matod pa ni Dr. Noel Daquioag, Presidente sa Davao Tourism Officers Association, mahinungdanon ug tukma sa panahon ang seminar tungod naghinay-hinay na’g rekober ang Davao Region gikan sa epekto sa pandemya ug nagkadaghan na usab ang mga bisitang ginadawat sa mga probinsya maong ang mga input nga matuki kay mabentaha alang sa industriya sa turismo nga mas makabalo sila unsa ang mga saktong pamaagi sa pag abi-abi sa mga bisita ilabi na mga dignitaryo.
“The One Davao Tourism Officers Association has been wanting to have this seminar on protocols because like in Davao del Norte when we had an Israeli Diplomat who was very interested also in our province, we have several diplomats coming over and because Davao city is a gateway, our visitors would also like to travel to our province. Recently we received the ambassador of Israel…so this is very timely since the tourism now is bouncing back and we’ll hopefully recover from this pandemic, we’ll be receiving a lot of guests and the inputs from this seminar will be very advantageous to all of us,” sulti ni Dr. Daquioag.
