MADAYON na gyod ang pagtukod sa Davao del Norte State College extension didto sa Talaingod ug Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) tungod sa pag-apil niini sa Annual Investment Program (AIP) alang sa tuig 2018.
Aprobado sa Provincial Development Council (PDC) sa Davao del Norte ang sugyot nga pasiunang pondo nga 20 milyones ka pesos alang sa support services sama sa karsada, pasuga ug patubig ingon man pagtukod ug bilding alang sa Datu Jose A. Libayao – Davao del Norte State College (DJAL-DNSC) extension nga anha ipahimutang sa Sitio Salawao.
Atubangan sa PDC council, gipresentar ni Dean, Dr. Marilou Junsay, ang nasabotan sa eskwelahan ug mga kadagkoan sa Davao del Norte Learning Institute (DNSC-DNLI).
“The proposals for the 20 Million infrastructure development Datu Jose A. Libayao extension campus, this is actually extracted from our original proposal of 200 million and another 10 million infrastructure development of Davao del Norte State College Island Garden City of Samal extension campus,”pasabot ni Dr. Marilou Junsay nga ang maong proyekto maoy pagtinabangay sa mga ahensya sa probinsyal nga panggamhanan sa Davao del Norte pinaagi sa Davao Learning Institute, munisipyo sa Talaingod ug Ata-Manobo nga tribo, National Commission for Indigenous People (NCIP) ug DNSC pinaagi sa Institute of Management Governance and Continuing Studies (IMAGOCS).
Kahinumduman nga ang DJAL-DNSC extension college namugna pinaagi sa Memorandum of Agreement sa mga ahensya nga ginganlan sa itaas balik niadtong 2016. Kasamtangan anaa nagklase sa mga bilding nga gipanag-iyahan sa Ata-Manobo Tribal Council ang 37 ka mga estudyanteng sakop sa Indigenous People (IP) nga nag-eskwela sa Bachelors in Agriculture Technology (BAT) gawas sa continuing ug masteral studies alang sa mga empleyado sa munisipyo nga wala pa kahuman ug kurso.
Ang DJAL-DNSC nga adunay sobra 200 ektaryas nga luna mahimo sab unya nga dairy (gatas) ug livestock production center sa probinsya. Giplastar na sa Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) ang plano sa pagpamuhi ug baka, kanding ingon man manok. Niadtong lamang Enero 30 atol sa pagbukas sa extension bilding sa PVO, gipahibalo ni Dr. Renato Embate nga ang 5 milyones nga pondo gikan sa Department of Agriculture gi-download na ngadto sa probinsya alang sa pagpamuhi ug pagpadaghan sa native chicken.
Kabahin sa IGACOS-DNSC extension college, gipasabot sab sa Dean nga ang pangandam ila nang gihimo alang sa mga kurso nga magtabang sa paningkamot sa probinsya alang sa turismo.
“We would be offering Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. This actually to support the effort on tourism of our province; then we have the Bachelor of Science in Disaster Resiliency and Management; then we will be also offering Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship. Kasi kailangan ito ng tourism ang entrepreneurship, and we have our existing Bachelor of Science in Marine Biodiversity,” dugang pasabot ni Dr. Junsay nga nagpahibalo nga ila una nga gilimitahan sa 845 ka mga estudyante sa pagbukas sa klase karong Agosto 2018.
Gawas sa extension college nga gilakip sa 2018 AIP, giapil usab niini ang Legislative-SP bilding, pag-atop sa swimming pool, pag-upgrade sa DNSTC multi-purpose covered court ingon man pagpalit ug dugang construction ug heavy equipments.
