“In behalf of the good people of Davao Region, as Chairman of Regional Development Council, Chairman of RDCom Mindanao and from the Dabaonon people of the province of Davao del Norte, I extend my warmest greetings and welcome to all the officers and members of Local Social Welfare & Development Officers of the Philippines (ALSWDOPI),” matod ni DavNor Provincial Administrator Samson Sanchez nga nagbasa sa mensahe ni Gobernador Anthony del Rosario.
Gawas sa mainitong pag-abi-abi sa mga bisita, gipaambit usab niini ang mga maayong nahimo sa probinsyal nga kagamhanan ilabina ang mga interbensyon sama sa sistematiko nga pagkuha ug mga ilhanan (profiling) sa mga misurender nga biktima sa illegal nga droga pinaagi sa paghimo sa probinsyal nga opisina sa Social Welfare Development Office kun PSWDO nga maoy secretariat niini.
“PSWDO is forefront as secretariat of PADAC in support to the relentless drive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on anti-illegal drug campaign by closely coordinating all our government interventions for all those who submit themselves for reformation, through our in-house information software Aksyon Gabay tungo sa Repormasyon-Information Management System. This just one of the innovative services by DavNor PSWDO . . on top of our Bahay Pag-asa CICS and the Women Development Center,” padayong pahayag ni Administrador Sanchez.
Matod ni ALSWDOPI National President Ms. Betty F. Fangasan nga katuyoan gayod sa ilang tinuig nga panagtigom nga makadungog ug maayong mga binuhatan gikan sa nagkalain-laing social welfare and development offices sa tibuok nasod aron sab maaplikar kini ngadto sa ilang dapit.
“The purpose of this convention . . . for us to have capacity building, see each other and share good practices and learn new trends. . . if we go back to each places we know how to approach the issues,” matod sa president sa ALSWDOPI Betty Fangasan.
Usa sa hinungdanong topiko nga ilang nakat-onan mao ang Pederalismo.
“Once Federalism will be on the ground, what will be the role of the social workers? . . . So we have to be pro-active on those aspects . .if discuss in the community, at least we know how to answer these issues and concerns,” pasabot ni Ms. Fangasan labot sa topiko sa Pederalismo.
Apan ang usa pinakaimportanteng topiko nga ilang nahisgotan mao ang paghatag ug eksaktong interbensyon sa biktima sa ilegal nga droga lakip na ang ilang pamilya.
“How to handle family with persons in drug abuse disorders. . what interventions are necessary for us to rehabilitate not only the drug user but also the members of his family and to prepare them, family and community on how to deal with them. . . assist these persons with substance-used disorders or surrenderers so that they become participative individual in building a community,” dugang pasabot sa presidente.
