Positibo gayod ang Chairman sa Committee on Amendments sa House of Representatives Congressman Roger Mercado nga mapahitabo ang kausaban sa balaod aron mahatagan ug kahigayonan ang pagpanday alang sa Pederalismo.
Atol sa Federalism Congress nga gipahinabo sa RDR Gym niadtong Disyembre 9, gipahibalo ni Southern Leyte Congressman Mercado nga gipirmahan na ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ang Executive Order sa pagporma ug komisyon nga maoy magtuon sa porma pederal nga haom alang sa Pilipinas.
“Yesterday, President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Executive Order No. 10 for the creation of the constitutional commission numbering 25 members to craft the proposed Federal form of government,” pahibalo ni Cong Mercado nga gisugat ug palakpak sa mga lokal opisyales.
Midugang si Mercado nga positibo siya nga maapil na sa sunod tuig ang pagtuki niini aron usab malakip sa plebisito atol sa 2019 nga eleksyon.
“Then hopefully by January, the Committee will have a deliberation for the inclusion in the Order of Business the proposal to amend the Constitution thru the Constituent Assembly. Then hopefully by 2019 direction, we will also hold the plebiscite of our new Federal Constitution,” positibong panglantaw sa kongresman.
Gawas sa gilantaw nga kausaban sa balaod, giawhag sab ni Mercado ang publiko nga tabangan ang paningkamot ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte alang sa tinuod nga pagbag-o nga naglakip mismo sa kinaiya sa tawo.
“Ug karon dako ko ug paglaom nga matuman kini pinaagi sa inyong pagsuporta, pinaagi sa ato tanang paningkamot, kinahanglan magkahiusa kita, kinahanglan magsakripisyo, kinahanglan sab nga bag-ohon ta ang atong kinaija kay bisan ug nindot ang constitution apan kung ang atong mga tawo wa gihapo’y disiplina. . . . na wa jud ta’y asenso niana. So atong tabangan ang atong presidente,” pag-awhag ni Congressman Roger Mercado.
Kahinumduman nga sa tinguha nga masabtan pag-ayo ang diwa ug unod sa Pederalismo, nagpahigayon ang probinsyal nga kagamhanan sa Davao del Norte ug panaghisgot uban ang mga ekspertong mamumulong.
