Gihimo ang Region XI 2nd Joint Advisory Council Meeting dinhi sa Davao del Norte aron lang gyod tun-an ang nahimo sa Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council Information Management System (PADAC-IMS) Byernes, Nobyembre 18 sa Bulwagan ng Lalawigan.
Ang mga Police Provincial Directors ug Provincial Advisory Council chairperson gikan sa Davao del Norte, Davao City, ComVal Province, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental ug hepe sa Regional Police Safety Batallion pulos mitambong sa maong miting.
“First of all we brought all the Advisory Councils here in Davao del Norte because of that success in your anti-drug campaign. We want the different advisory councils and the different provincial directors to observe yung napanood namin kanina, how Davao del Norte handles the surrenderers. So nakita naman nila. Bumibelib yung mga provincial directors. And hopefully we can make use of this best practice na in Davao del Norte,” matod ni Regional Director XI Police Chief Superintendent Manuel R. Gaerlan.
Bisan tinuod nga ang listahan sa mga voluntary drug surrenderers maoy gikan sa kapolisan, apan matod ni RXI police director nga gipaayo pa gyod kini sa DavNor PADAC pinaagi sa paghimo ug elektronikong sistema.
“Mas maganda yung ginawa ng Davao del Norte because ki-nomputerize nila. Sabi ko nga yung sa amin primitive, yung sa kanila modern, and we are requesting the governor if they could allow us, since they own the software, we request that they allow us to use it in the whole of the region kung papayag si governor, so that would make the job of our police officers easier,” pagdayeg sa police director sa rehiyon onse.
Gipasalamatan gayod ni Direktor Gaerlan ang mapuslanon kaayo nga programa nga iyang gitawag ug “very efficient.”
“Definitely it’s a very useful program. Alam nyo primitive pa kami pagdating sa computer. . but development of software nauna sila governor dito. We thank governor del Rosario for such outstanding job providing services to the people of Davao del Norte. Ito yung sinasabi nating efficiency. Very efficient yung kaniyang staff, very efficient yung kaniyang office,” padayong pagdayeg ni police director Gaerlan.

“Those are classification not of the PNP but DDB and DOH. And that’s what I am saying. Yung clinically affected nationwide based on the statistics obtained, 2% lang among the voluntary surrenderers. Majority are the mild, yung 70% na binanggit ko those are the mild cases. They can have outpatient rehabilitation, yung dun lang sa community nila, pareport-report sa barangay or sa munisipyo or sa probinsya. Those are the majority of the volunteer surrenderers,” kusganong pagsugyot ni RXI Police Director Manuel Gaerlan.
